Jesse Kanda, the artist who has been instrumental in defining the visual aesthetic for celebrated acts such as Bjork, Arca and FKA Twigs, has made his first foray into music with the release of Heart, an EP put out by Hyperdub records.
The 5-track release is credited to doon kanda and is an interesting 13 minutes of music, balancing and blending a wide palette of sounds, from industrial drumming to buzzing synths and shimmering Classical piano glissandos.
The album is currently available in digital format from Hyperdub’s Bandcamp page, but fans looking to get their hands on a copy of the vinyl are set to be disappointed, as the first round of LPs have sold out long before the official February 24th release date.
